Following Ye’s threats against the Jewish community, Kim Kardashian and others have condemned antisemitism.

“I stand in solidarity with the Jewish community,” the TV personality wrote.

Following her ex-husband Ye’s anti-Jewish comments and threats to Jewish people, Kim Kardashian has joined a steadily increasing number of public figures in showing support to the Jewish community.

In a tweet, the reality TV star and businesswoman denounced hate speech and asserted her support for the Jewish community.

“Hate speech is not ever acceptable or justifiable,” Kardashian wrote. “I stand with the Jewish community in calling for an end to the horrific violence as well as hateful rhetoric directed at them.”

Kardashian is among a number of celebrities and notable figures who have condemned Ye, the music artist and entrepreneur previously known as Kanye West, for a series of offensive tweets directed at the Jewish community earlier this month, which included an allusion to the defense readiness alert used by the United States armed forces.

Ye made similar anti-Semitic remarks during an Oct. 16 interview on Revolt TV’s “Drink Champs,” which has since been deleted, as well as on Oct. 17, in a Q&A with Chris Cuomo on NewsNation.

N.O.R.E., the host of “Drink Champs,” has since made an apology for the interview, telling Hot97’s Peter Rosenberg, “I have a friendship with Ye. He would call me and actually listen to me when he was experiencing a lot of and take my advice. I felt I could manage the situation and interview but then learned early that i didn’t.

Ye attempted to justify his comments in one of his since-deleted tweets by asserting he can not be antisemitic, reiterated several anti Jewish tropes, & threatened Jewish people.

Twitter has deleted those comments, and the rapper has been barred from the platform for violating the company’s policies, according to a Twitter representative earlier this month.

A group of neo-Nazis in Los Angeles appeared to have referenced Ye’s remarks over the weekend, when they hung anti-Semitic signs on a busy highway in support of Ye’s remarks.

In a statement to ABC News, the Beverly Hills Police Department said it was “aware of and continuing to investigate the dissemination of some Anti-Semitic flyers in the northern part of the city” that had been distributed overnight, but stated the absence of prevalent threats to the community.

Amy Schumer, Gwyneth Paltrow, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Reese Witherspoon, Florence Pugh, Piers Morgan, Sophia Bush, Keith Olbermann, John Legend, Jack Antonoff, and numerous others have all spoken out against Ye and antisemitism in recent weeks.

Many people have shared author Jessica Seinfeld’s post, which simply states, “I support my Jewish friends as well as the Jewish people.”

Schumer highlighted the repercussions of antisemitic rhetoric in the tagline of an Instagram post.

“Do you understand just what Jewish community is worried about?” Schumer urged everyone else to “stand up.”

Mayor Eric Garcetti of Los Angeles also spoke out, tweeting from the official @MayorOfLA account, saying, “Los Angeles is a city of belonging, not of hatred. We condemn the anti-Semitic incidents that occurred this weekend. Jews in Los Angeles always should feel safe. Discrimination and prejudice have no place in Los Angeles. And we will never give up our efforts to expose and eradicate it.”

In the aftermath of Ye’s comments, Hollywood talent agency Creative Artists Agency, or CAA, announced on Monday that it would no longer represent the rapper and designer. MRC, a film and television studio, has also canceled a documentary about Kanye West, stating on Monday that they “cannot endorse any material that enhances his platform.”
