Swift described the trailer as “music movies” that “explore graphically the universe of this record.”

Whereas the action was on the ground Thursday night as the Arizona Cardinals battled on the New Orleans Saints, some Television viewers were much more interested in the trailer of Taylor Swift’s new album, released as the game commenced.

Swift’s album “Midnights” made its debut at midnight on Friday, shortly after the trailer during “Thursday Night Football.”

The trailer was a series of clips from Swift’s music videos for the album, in which she played a variety of historical characters, including one with a Marilyn Monroe-type actress, a flapper girl, Marie Antoinette, as well as, at one point, a person who tries to hide in a coffin for some reason.

Swift expressed gratitude Amazon in a message prior to the release of the widely anticipated trailer for “giving me the opportunity to demonstrate to you guys a first glance teaser trailer of the clandestine projects that I’ve been working on for a truly long time.” The game was available on Amazon Prime.

“Those projects are the ‘Midnights’ music movies, the music videos that I’ve created for this album to kind of of visually look into the world of this record,” she continued.

The singer of “Look What You Made Me Do” stated that she enjoys writing songs and telling stories.

“I love to write and direct videos,” she said.

“We really wanted to push ourselves this time around to do different things and stretch, and I’m really pleased with what we created and I really hope you like them,” she said of director of photography Rina Yang, with whom she worked on the short film ‘All Too Well,’ regarding her connection with Jake Gyllenhaal.

Swift also worked on the videos with several celebrities, such as Laura Dern, Dita Von Teese, as well as comedian Mike Birbiglia.

Swift tweeted shortly after the album’s release, “Midnights is an intense collage of both highs and lows, ebbs and flows.

Life can be frightening, electrifying, hot, cold, romantic, or lonely.

The same as Midnights.”
